Review:
BroadwayWorld Houston:
Play Emma Carew, Teal Wicks brings Broadway's extraordinarily well-trained and elegant presence to the show and uses her technique to characterize and differentiate her appearance from the other two directions. The soft, quiet sound of her song is the perfect counterpoint to Constantine's Raw Edge of Maroulis, Teal Wicks is very fun and very impressive in his translation, "Take Me As I Am" and "In His Eyes." "
Houston Chronicle:
Teal Wicks is as charming and energetic as Emma Carew, Jekyll's fiancé, that I find myself looking forward to the next performance as soon as she leaves the stage. The duet with Deborah Cox, "In His Eyes," one of the best songs on the show, amazingly and wonderfully realized by both women. "
BroadwayWorld Durham:
"The black horse of this trio is a seemingly unattractive Wicks, who ends up blowing the audience in a subtle and impressive sound. He sings equally well in his top register as on his chest voice, and, in the most secret way possible, stole the show. "
BroadwayWorld Denver:
"Teal Wicks dominated the stage as Dr. Jekyll's fiancée, Emma Crew and really stole my attention and heart. He was in a league of her own with her extraordinary and endearing performances that had a lot of attention, showing so deeply in Once Upon a Dream and Take Me as I Amet are people's favorites. "
Hollywood Reporter:
"Teal Wicks, last seen on Broadway as a green-elfaba wizard at Wicked, sings beautifully and carries those moments that usually hurt his performance as Jekyll's fiancé shed."
Associated Press:
"The luminous axis is on the part of Jekyll's fiancé, but still manages to lend glamor and skill to the part. The two women deliver a knockout duet" In His Eyes. ""
The New York Times :
"The actors who portray the grinning or arrogant enemies of Dr Jekyll doing their duties with pleasure, and Teal Wicks, for his love interest the same as Emma Carew, suffers with the noble fortitude of her hope for a happy marriage began to grow dim, indeed. "
CurtainUp:
"I have to admire Teal Wicks' controlled performance of Emma, ââmy loving and loyal Dr. Jekyll's fiancée, and I commend her for not having to prove that her beautiful aria is better than anyone else."/i>
The Write Teacher (s):
"What amazes me about this production is Teal Wicks. Her presence, his vocals, his acting flesh - from soup to beans he is happy to watch, and he really pulls me into the story, as well as those who are watching the show with The duet between him on Deborah Cox, "In His Eyes", is my favorite number from the show. "
Teater New York:
"Teal Wick performances like Emma Carew, Jekyll's fiancee, are also prominent."

Review:
Back Stage:
Wicks jumped on the movement of Act 1 closer, the "Eiffel Tower," where Mary deals with Franz's death "" I really like the ice, Charleston's rigorous arranged by the grieving black mourning Mary "
Variation:
Teal Wicks, Elphaba's successor in "Wicked," is an amazing discovery as Mary; he closed the first half with a very beautiful solo, "Eiffel Tower," and combines well with Arcelus for "Love. ""
Official Art Initiative Blog at Columbia University:
"I have to say, though, as far as singing goes, Teal Wicks actually stole the show with this virtuoso performance. As a whole, the sounds of the heads, the sounds of the chest & the blend of each beautifully developed in Ms. Wicks, but really Section what is impressive is how easy it is to get back and forth between them, sometimes I hear elements from all three registrations at different points in the same word.He really controls many aspects of his voice, and it is a facility that allows he is to be as expressive as himself, with a smooth and capable instrument as his own, he can fully realize the phrase music with all subtext and emotion from the intentions of the composer and lyricist He has so many vocal tools he has and is true, virtuoso with each Not every day I see singers with versatility and mastery of the ins and outs of human voices, I'm sure we can expect more great things from Ms. Wicks in the future. "
New York Time:
"Teal Wicks, as Mary, sings with the expression and riches of a dazzling tone"
Time Out New York:
"Wicks is ready to appear as a star"
News Network History:
"The Power of The Blue Flower is a talented ensemble player from Sebastian Arcelus (Franz), Marc Kudisch (Max), Meghan McGeary (Hannah) and Teal Wicks (Maria).) They are good actors and good singers (especially Wicks) Wicks sang a heartfelt ballad song at the end of the first half, from the top of the Eiffel Tower, it dazzled.... The songs have a familiar ring to each other, but Wicks' one introductory act is a gem, like some ballads strong in action one. "

"

Review:
TheatreMania:
"Like Julie, Teal Wicks conveyed so many characters in a concise and clear way, but did so with a real sense of impeccability, New England refrained. As the storyline unfolds, and Julie's relationship with Billy experiences an increasing set terrible challenge, Wicks allows his character's emotions to emanate from within. "
Circle of Connecticut Criticism:
"Like Julie, Teal Wicks is a beautiful person, her appearance is heartbreaking in all the right ways... a very balanced sensation of fragility and steel."
Broadway.com:
"Snyder stands out in a cast that's filled with top-notch players, including the Wicked Teal Wicks Beautiful Girl as Julie Jordan"
The Wall Street Journal:
".. Julie Jordan originally played by the excellent Teal Wicks"
In the spotlight:
"Teal Wicks brings uniqueness, forward, Yankee, sensitivity to Julie but her beautiful voice is not served by the score."
Examiner.com oleh Andrew Beck:
"Wicks, Julie's investment with the right combination of innocence and strength, illustrates the tentative temptation of his character with the dangers that represent Billy along with his growing determination to finally look for something he really wants. He has a beautiful, singing voice that can fill with passion for "If I Loved You" or ironically asserted himself in "What the Use of Wondrin." "He is also able to then describe Julie's world lethargy as the music leaps forward 15 years in the scene later, as well as the enduring connection to her true love."
Hartford Courant:
"Wicks" Julie is a great match and creates a character who is possessed, but also unsafe, which you believe may fall in love for a moment, stay with a broken husband, and endure with inner strength and peace. "
Times Square Chronicles:
"Julie, on the show I saw, sung and acted beautifully by Teal Wicks, Axis and Snyder are very trustworthy in the duet" If I Loved You "."
Post-Chronicle:
Miss Wicks is very good at making sure Julie never comes out as a victim in what is basically a domestic abuse from Billy.Wicks managed to show her steel spine under warm humanity and the delights of her character.
