The Frogman is a high-end model of the Casio G-Shock watch. This is one of the first models of the "Master of G" line, a line of G-Shock watches designed for special use. The Frogman has an asymmetrical shape and is attached eccentrically to its strap. It is specially made as a dive hour for scuba divers and is the only G-Shock line that complies with ISO 6425 with 200 m Divers rating.

The first Frogman model (DW-6300) was released in November 1993. While Casio started using the newer four-screw back plates for its wrists around that time, the DW-6300 retained the older rear platen design. In June 1995, the second generation Frogman model was released, DW-8200. Since then Frogman has become very popular in G-Shock collectors and many special editions have been released.

The unique model in the Frogman lineup is the limited edition MRG-1100-2. This model is part of the MR-G series, a high-end G-Shock line of metal clocks. While all other G-Shock models are built with resin and rope bezels, MRG-1100-2 is built entirely from titanium.

In April 1999, the DW-9900 model was introduced. This Frogman is slightly smaller than the DW-8200. Over the next two years, both DW-8200 and DW-9900 models are produced. DW-9900 seems to be a less popular model because it was soon followed up with a solar-powered GW-200 model in June 2001. Except for "Snake Killer" and "Carbon Fiber Frogman" (GW-201-6JF) and GW-201NT-1JF) , The Frogman has the T22 Solar Tough module. The Frogman's last GW-200 series is the GW-200Z-1JF "Final Frogman" released in November 2009. This model has been around for at least seven years, longer than the DW-8200. Typically, the designation of "GW" refers to G-Shocks that can receive time updates from commonly called radio signals, albeit incorrectly, "atomic signals." However, no Frogman has been equipped with this feature prior to the release of GWF-1000.

GWF-1000 was introduced in September 2009 in Japan. It represents the fifth generation of the Frogman series. The GWF-1000 is now able to receive time updates from six locations around the world (Mainflingen [Germany], Anthorn [UK], Ft Collins [AS], Shangqiu [China] & Fukushima & Fukuoka/Saga [Japan]) , while maintaining water resistance of ISO 6425 200 m, shock resistance, measurement of dive time and solar power. It also combines tidal and monthly graphics functions. Like the first generation Frogman, GWF-1000 uses stainless steel construction with the addition of a diamond-like layer (DLC) to improve corrosion resistance.

Casio launched their latest model, GWF-D1000 in Baselworld 2016. This includes the reference GWF-D1000-1 and GWF-D1000B-1 (blue accents). In addition to the usual features such as the Tough Solar "light-powered movement and atomic clock signal accuracy control system, the watch has three sensors, namely, temperature, depth gauge, and compass. The timepiece will record your diving time, track your depth, record water temperature, and record up to 20 dives. Another unique feature is the sapphire crystal.
