The Ariel Ace is a 2014 motor sport manufactured by the British Ariel Motor Company in Crewkerne, Somerset, England. It uses a 1,200 cc V4 engine (73Ã, à ° C) from Honda VFR1200.
This is Ariel's first new motorcycle marque in over 50 years.

Design
Ariel has a "long-term relationship with Honda", who was quite impressed with Atom Ariel's sports car to allow them to use their VFR machine on Ace. The V4 engine is suspended from a "large aluminum frame like a bridge" that resembles a trellis frame in appearance. The trellis frame is usually made from welding tubes, as in Ducati Monster, as well as for Atomic chassis. The Ace frame, however, is not made of welded steel tubes; not the side of the frame is worked out from solid aluminum billets. This provides a diagonal stiffener frame on their distinctive triangular vee sections, rather than a regular round-section tube.
Ace Ariel comes with a choice of two alternate front suspensions; either conventional conventional telescopic forks, or Ariel's own fork props. The rear suspension uses a one-sided swingarm. The last drive is the drive shaft.
The unusual feature is that the rider's knee does not hold the fuel tank in shape; otherwise one's knees are next to the frame, which is somewhat uncomfortable.
Customization
Bicycles can be ordered from the factory with various options, and upgraded over time. Options include front and rear suspension, handlebars, bodywork, fuel tank size, exhaust, wheels, seats, footrests, colors and finishes.

Reception
Roland Brown, writing at The Daily Telegraph, concludes that Ace is a "dramatically designed, intelligent, and powerful Vster roadster that returns the famous Ariel marque to motorcycles in an impressive way." Jensen Beeler, writing in Asphalt and Rubber, calls him "the most expensive Honda you've ever met" while taking down his exclusivity. Loz Blain at Gizmag called it "one of the best bikes I've seen", also noted the price of GBÃ, £ 20,000 made it out of reach for many riders.
Gizmag and Jalopnik both noted the unique customization options available to create a fully faired cruiser, sportbike, or bare bike around common frame and powertrain; the last publication calls it "adult Lego set".
Reviews on Street & amp; Track compares its design with the Atom sports car, calling it "deliberate" but "not very pretty".
