7flix is a free-to-air multichannel digital television channel, launched by Seven Network on February 28, 2016.

On December 18, 2015, a test pattern began broadcasting on channel 76 that reads "New Channel Coming Soon". Seven acknowledged the broadcast and program director Angus Ross officially announced on February 1, 2016 that Seven launched a new channel and more details will soon be released. During ad-break of the miniseries on Molly on February 7, 2016, Seven announced that channel 76 would be named 7flix and would launch on February 28, 2016. The "New Channel" test pattern was then replaced with a continuous promo loop for 7flix.
7flix starts broadcasting at 6 am on February 28, 2016 in MPEG-4, as seen in a YouTube video showing the end of the promo circle and the repetition of Once Upon A Time begins thereafter. This channel shows the movie in the main time slot with other television and entertainment series at other times. 7flix was added to the live streaming service of Seven7 Live at the time of its release.
On April 13, 2016, it was announced the channel would change its schedule, shifting its focus from the film to more American dramas. This change began in the previous weeks when Gray's Anatomy aired at 8:30 pm, which was originally designated as an "exclusive" movie time slot. The change also saw the addition of the Criminal Mind repeat to Thursday night.
As of June 3, 2016, 7flix became available on more TVs because the channel switched to MPEG-2.
On August 3, 2017, 18 months after launch in the metropolitan area, Prime7 announced it would bring 7flix to its regional station in northern and southern New South Wales, the Victoria and Mildura region. The channel was launched at 6 am on September 3rd on digital channel 66, in MPEG-4 format.

The launch titles for 7flix include new episodes of the US series Once Upon A Time , The Muppets , The Mindy Project , Cougar Town and The Amazing Race , which previously debuted on Seven Network. Initial series such as Black-ish , Grandfather , Galavant and Carter Agents debuted at a later date. Throughout 2016, new episodes of Agent SHIELD , Gray Anatomy , How to Get Away with Murder , Quantico and Scandal are serving exclusively on the channel. Also featured on the channel was The Big Bang Theory marathon.
7flix presents various series of Disney children including Austin & amp; Ally , Dog with Blog , I Did Not Do It , Jessie , Kirby Bucket < Lab Rats and Mighty Medes . The daytime schedule for this channel comprises comedic scenes of classical situations such as Benson , Damned , Good Times , I Dream of Jeannie > and Who's The Boss? 7flix also displays encore local programs from Seven Network, including Home Rule and First Date .
In 2017, the US drama The Astronaut Wives Club made its debut, along with premiere of the comedy series Marry Me , Bad Teacher , Dr. Ken and The Real O'Neals . The Australian comedy short comedy series Bent 101 is also debuting on the channel.
How I Met Your Mother was added to 7flix in 2018, returning to Seven Network as part of a deal with FOX.

7flix becomes available to Foxtel cable customers with iQ3, iQ2 and iQ1.5 set the top box on Channel 187 from March 24, 2016.
